Roughly about 300 persons inhabit this beautiful island and there is so much to see or do; or if you just want to relax. Say hi to the local legend when you get there; Foxy – if you are lucky, he may sing you a saga and strum his guitar. He will be located at Foxy’s in Great Harbour Jost Van Dyke – home of the famous New Year’s Eve party that sees thousands of persons traverse there every year – the locals joke that Jost Van Dyke will sink with this event – LOL – it hasn’t happened yet!

The Bubbly Pool – this is a must visit – it is a short hike to get there that takes you through a scenic mangrove path, and over a few boulders. This is a natural formation where the waves create a swirly natural jacuzzi where you can just relax your troubles away.

If the pool is too tranquil for you, let’s go over to White Bay, which is one of the most popular beaches in the BVI. Enjoy a nice swim and a perfect “painkiller” at the Soggy Dollar Bar – and just off the southern shores of JVD are two smaller Islands – Sandy Cay, and Sandy Spit. They are perfectly remote and lends itself to an idyllic atmosphere where you can just chill-lax in the beauty and serenity of the place.
